Is it safe to use while driving?
Yes. Car Party is built to be hands-free and eyes-free — prompts read aloud and you answer out loud, so the driver never has to look at the screen. Turn on read-aloud in Settings.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Car Party Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. To view, change, or cancel it, open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or the App Store app → your profile → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Car Party → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Premium.
Why isn't location-based content (Local Lore / Discover) showing?
Make sure location is enabled for Car Party in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Car Party. Local Lore appears as you drive into covered regions; Discover and Surprise Me need a location fix to estimate distances.
Read-aloud is quiet or not working.
Check your device isn't muted and the volume is up, and that "Read prompts aloud" is on in the in-trip audio menu. For the best voice, install an Enhanced or Premium voice in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
How do I delete my data?
In Car Party → Settings → Delete all data. Deleting the app also removes everything stored on your device. See our Privacy Policy — your data never leaves your device.
Does it work without internet?
Almost entirely — games, questions, and trivia are all on-device and work with no signal, and "Play together" connects the phones in your car over local Wi-Fi & Bluetooth (no internet needed). Two features do need a connection: Name That Tune streams song clips from Apple Music, and location-based Local Lore / Discover use your location when available.
